Change modem?

Hi guys,

I'm having internet connection problems for the past few days, using singnet mio, the modem is miobox 2701hgv-e. The problem is i keep having connection for about 4-6hrs then i get no connection for another 4-6hrs and this continued for like the past 5 days.
Is it the modem problem or my phone line or juz singnet problem?
Can i change back to my old modem+router
Old modem+router is Aztech 305E + DLink 524UP

I had the same problem since Thursday but I was using my older 2700 modem, I thought it was the line but when Singtel tech came to my house the line check was good, he asked for the new 2701 modem, replaced it and works consistently after that.
