Okie, i guess this is goint to be the same old Singnet vs Starhub Broadband problem. [Maybe vs M1]

My current Singnet contract is ending and i am thinking is i should change to Starhub or stay with Singnet?

The PC show is near the corner and i am planning to get it re-newed or changed there. However i am still stuck with which to get?

I am not fond with the promotion and freebies. I am more concerned with the download speed and the stability. So far Singnet haven't been giving me any disconnecting problem [quite stable i would say] but i am very unhappy about their customer service.

However, I stay around AMK and i am worried about the downloading speed if i change to Starhub [i am guessing a lot of people using Starhub in my area].

I am totally unsure about M1. Not much reviews about it. And i am also kind of turn-ed off by the modem rental. @.@ And they don't wavier activation charge? [as found on their website]

Now, which would you go for?

Singnet or Starhub or M1?

Modem rental shouldn't be much of a problem since you won't be using it if you happen to switch ISP..

M1 has only a 6 months contract and at up to 40% off, it's definitely much more worth than SH.. Performance wise, can refer to the other threads here giving thumbs up... =)

So far Singtl by far still have best coverage. M1 has improve a lot. Starhub is out of question in coverage.

Interms of speed i didn't like Singtel broadband. Their promise is like upto 2mbps but getting less than 1mbps speed when downloading from anysite/bittorrent.
But I liked the starhub speed when i borrow it from my fren consistent speed as they promised, but starhub is not worth if you have to download from bittorrent.. Otherwise browsing and download is very fast compared to ST

Actually i am currently leaning toward M1. The price for the PC Show deal is great. Just wondering which to get.

The Singnet and Starhub PC Show deals are not up yet. But as compared M1 is really a good deal:

M1 Broadband:

10 Mbps - $40.60
15 Mbps - $42.90
30 Mbps - $49.00
100 Mbps - $59.00

Singnet Broadband:

3 Mbps - $27.11
6 Mbps - $39.90
10 Mbps - $46.90
15 Mbps - $59.90

Starhub Broadband:

2 Mbps - $26.96
8 Mbps - $44.94
12 Mbps - $56.92
100 Mbps - $86.88

So, which M1 plan would you get? XD

Hmm the 15Mbps one perhaps since only less than $2 difference between the 10Mbps and 15Mbps..

Yeah M1 Cable BB plans are real cheap..

Hi All

I was given the task of deciding which broadband service to go to when our plan expired this August. But i know nuts about this and hope can gather some advice in this forum.

Currently we are with Singtel 4mb Business ADSL, with 15 user. I admit our usage is quite heavy having to download stuff , watch streaming video, email , intensive search and the usual msn.

We are all complaining slow down time and have the engineer check our line many time with no help. Speed test was conducted also can't trace problem.

Speculation about Singtel having gate close for more user, and people stealing our connection and whatever you can think of...

Was suggest to wait for optical line, switching to Starhub, or split user with additional 4mb plan etc

PLEASE HELP.

Pls get someone to check ur network and equipment and made sure they can handle the load first. If you use cheap router, don't expect it to even handle a decent amt of 6 users.

Not Singnet definitely, I would say.
