Dear all,
i am having some problem trying to convert my spare computer into a ftp server. specifications as follow:
Windows XP Pro
Filezilla Server
2wire 2700hg (silver/ black) w/ 2 computers connected via ethernet
Singnet broadband 3mbps
i have attempted to port forward via the homeportal GUI port 21 to no avail. It seems that even on DMZplus mode, i am unable to establish connection from a seperate terminal.
Insights are appreciated.

testing was done via pfportchecker on the system. whether it is WAN or LAN based im not too sure.. care to advise?
Port was forwarded properly in the GUI, even when DMZplus mode was enabled, port was still detected as closed.

Pfportchecker is a WAN Based check from what i read on portforward.com.
1. u ran the pfportchecker on the FTP machine or the other PC?
2. Any firewall on the FTP machine? If yes, did you allow the FTP software in the firewall?
3. Show ur ipconfig/all details for the FTP machine and screenshot for the port forwarding done in 2Wire.
4. Ensure that the filezilla software is running and it is listening on the port that you forwarded. :D
My 2cents.
