Network Streaming Problem

I have shared folders on my XP Pro desktop which I can access and stream videos when my laptop (vista HP) is connected to my router via LAN cable. However, when I try to use wireless, I can access the contents of the folders or stream videos. The folder will either not load or say that folder not found after I double click on the shared drive.

Basically, I can see the drive on my network but I cannot 'enter' it. Even when I place my laptop beside my router (Thomson Speedtouch 585 g network) and signal strength of 4/5, also cannot. But once I attach LAN cable, everything can be done again.

Any solutions?

i dun think st585 got this feature, but turn off wlan partitioning if any

network route can determine whether you can access/stream data from one PC to another?
