Mobile BB is not advisable to be used for gaming lo... But ping rate definitely much better than mio which is infamous for having very erratic connections de..

For example, my M1 1mbps mobile BB speedtest now:

Ping rate much lower than your mio with very smooth surfing =:p

All 3 Mobile broadband base latency is already very high. Typical 80-100ms upwards. This sky rocket when you load the link. On top of that, the link tends to drop frequently but not enough to stop your surfing, but will wreck havoc for real time games like WOW.

Being wireless, performance and stability is subjected to weather conditions, so its another show stopper for using it for playing games.

For getting better performance on your current MIO plans, (if your not using the IPTV or the phone services) try changing your modem, the 2WIRE is really quite crappy.

I'm not a starhub 7.2 bbom user but a singtel 2mbps bbom user. Tried running wow and the best latency i'd gotten is 500ms... average is around 900-1500ms. You wont want to play with such lags... lol

yo folks! Check out my m1 2mbps mbb, especially the ping! After recent network upgrading it sometimes shoots up to 4mbps

Hahah yup M1's mobile BB latency and ping has dropped significantly after doing network upgrading.. However, the network upgrading is ongoing and has not completed.. So looking forward to even higher speeds with lower ping! :D
