i was unable to surf internet but there is connection on my local area connection, what is happening?

Your router never connect to internet ijit.
Login to ur router's 'homepage' and ensure it is connected to the internet..
some router doesn't do this automatically sometimes...

Go to your internet connection and open up the status page. Look for "Network Connections"
Look for Local Area Network / Wireless connection.
Right click on it and select status.
Look for the gateway address.
That is your router's address.

thanks i saw it..
but my IE or firefox still cannot show my router home page setting, it shows connection time out..

disable your PROXY settings
