My office currently has about 20 computers/laptops. Most are on wireless. We subscribed to 1.5mbps ADSL broadband from singtel. Is that enough? We have been experiencing intermittent connections for the last few months, could it be because there are too many users to the network and hogging it? If so, is there any software that i can use to track real time the bandwidth each user on my network is using so that i can pinpoint that the moment that my network is down, it is due to overloading of bandwidth.
If 1.5mbps is not enough, how much would be ok? their helpdesk suggested static ip. would that solve the problem? Coz its really ex, and we need to know that it would solve the intermittent issues before committing.
Thanks!
