Update:
Just had my Mio @ Home 15mbps fully setup.
Download speed is very lifely at 16mbps.
However upload speed has dropped from ~850kbps to only 700kbps :(
downstream noise margin dropped from 18dB to only 9dB :(
Operation Data Upstream Downstream
Noise Margin 6 dB 9 dB
Attenuation 5 dB 8 dB
sync rate:
1022 (up)
19706
Is this OK or not? feels like barely stable, gonna crumble soon.

Nid so high speed meh?
15+10=25, therefore cannot mioTV
Reuse pair is not advisable.

bro liangtam , yea im a sucker for speed, and sharing the connection on other pcs with u-know-who. would have signed up for their older 25mbps if not for monthly bill budgeting.
P.S. the problem on msn will put on hold till i gear up all ready to collect them. it will escalate to a settlement or otherwise worse for the culprit :)
Anyway, I got a singtel technician up my place to fix a problem which i had. turned out to be the norm, but he explained that yes MioTV needs alot of bandwidth, and sure will affect the surfing speed when you switch on and start to buffer. More or less, depends.
my friend already on 10mbps miotv and yea i do see some erratic connectivity problems esp on the miotv side. thus i was elated when told by cso that 15mbps gets a dedicated broadband and dedi iptv.
so i wont need to rack my brain how to set up iptv on non 2wire modem.
downside is, they gotta install a new line and parents sure unhappy about the additional wire running if not done nicely :(
PinZzz , how much bandwidth do you think u need if u watch HD5? and the free 15 movies per month?

Actually now even the 10mb line is recommended to get a 2nd dedicated line for miotv.

I am also considering to get one but they don't have free laptop promotion for now. So I am waiting for a better promotion next week.

8+10 = 18, therefore okay
10+10=20, therefore, decently okay* also
