Gonna go wireless, will be connecting to the mio router/modem at living room.
Will be playing games and surfing net, so needs the connection to be stable.
Which would be more stable, PCI or USB kinds? TIA

Use the ethernet cable if you want stable connection.

i facing the same situation too. Damm the MIO modem, it keeps dc-ing me. recently, its occuring on a regular basis, worse, if connect, will lag me like mad. heard from a friend, that MIO modem uses wireless-G only, so if possible get a G-wireless adapter only. i'm using the Zyxel Wirless-G USB adapter, costs me $30 plus, quite pleased with it.

personally, i'm saving up to change that stupid router, but perhaps, connecting it directly to the pc via cable is the best solution?

Hmm ok then any USB wireless adapters to recommend? Like what Mr.Chocolate mentioned the mio modem uses wireless-G only? What does that mean?

means even if u buy wireless N adapter u will only get G speed.
depends on ur budget lor.
$30-$50 can get decent G adapter liao.
Dlink adapter here not bad at all.
