Hi,
Recently I noticed my Firefox keep closing during the night. I usually leave it open in office, everytime I come back to work, my firefox closes. Does anyone else experience this? Do you know what is causing it to happen? How do I make it not close when I come back?

Confirm firefox shutdown. My IE, Email software, excel files all still up. Computer reboot should only see folder recover right?
liangtam: Er....so which forum should I post? I thought Internet Bandwidth & Networking Clinic may anything related to the internet including its software.

Or someone came to your system and shut it down? Anyway try to update to 3.5.1 and see how.
Anyway, the forum to post is Software Clinic. Yes, Firefox accesses Internet but it is a piece of software. :s22:

3.5.1 is the 3.5 series.
3.0.12 is the 3.0 series.

3.5.1 is the 3.5 series.
3.0.12 is the 3.0 series.
What is the difference?

i wouldn't advise you to switch to 3.5
seems like it take quite some time to load and memory leak going on :s16::s27:

Then which version should I go to to solve the auto close problem?

Dun have this problem on all the systems I have FF 3.5.1 running (winXP,winVista,win2003,win2008). In fact, the 3.5.x series load faster than 3.0.x series and much less memory leak which result in needing to close FF.
However, this is true only for clean fresh install of FF 3.5.x. If it's upgrade from 2.x and/or 3.0.x, it tends to inherit some weird behavior esp. memory leak issues.

Well, 3.5 seems to solve my problem here. No auto close today too.

I have better experience too with 3.5.x than with 3.0.x. In fact, My 3.5.x is upgraded from the 3.0.x and still didn't have the problems. :)

I have no such issue here. Maybe something is wrong with your hardware? It could also be the addons. :)
