I need to choose an ISP in Woodlands area which will be used mainly to connect to a machine in the US daily to upload data. I'm not sure which ISP would perform best for this purpose. I have setup a speedtest on my machine (in the US). I would appreciate it if a few people could try it and post your:
1. ISP/service level
2. Upload speed
3. The downstream result it not important but you can post that as well (this is limited FYI).

In case my first post was confusing, I'm sorry I forgot to clarify this a little better. Since I just registered to this forum I can't post the full link in the message yet.

All you need to do is cut/paste this address into your web browser (with no www in front):
tenpeezy.ath.cx:888

You should see a speed test in your browser. This is the same speed test you get when you visit speedtest.net. I am just hosting it on my machine so that I can measure the bandwidth between a computer in singapore and my computer in the us. I'm hoping I can get some feedback from a couple people using Starhub and Singtel, and any other ISPs. I'll be paying for the connection at my parents in law's place so I need to make a decision on which ISP to use. Thanks to anyone who can help out.

Thanks! That should be fast enough to work for me if it's stable.

I didn't mean to say it was "fast"...just that it's "fast enough" to transfer files (barely). It's rather disappointing to be honest with you, but I have already read posts that the upstream international bandwidth capacity in Singapore is either severely undersized or capped by the residential providers. On my connection here it will consistently benchmark at 17-20,000Kbps down/2000kbps up with local us servers. With european servers it still benchmarks near capacity. I'm still hoping for some more input and faster results, and I'd like to see if there's any difference between the different ISPs.
