Browser can't download anything

Hi everyone,

Anyone encounter the below situation before?

My notebook is using vista home premium. After surfing for some time, the browser would just stop downloading anything. it keeps saying transferring data but the page does not change. I can still check POP email, or if the browser download manager is downloading something, the download would still continue. only the browser stops.

Even restarting the browser would not work. Have to restart notebook. But using iphone or other comp without restarting the modem, everything is normal.

I've disabled the ipv6 but still the same. Any solution?
