hey guys, i need help in networking.
Currently i got 1 console and 1 laptop, i got them hooked up using ethernet cable. My laptop is surfing internet wirelessly through a router which is situated outside the room. I want my console to be able to use the internet thus connect them together with the ethernet cable.
Console:
192.168.0.2
255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.0.1
DNS Server 1: 192.168.0.1
Laptop:
Local area Connection:
Ip address: 192.168.0.1
255.255.255.0
What I did was, i enable Internet Connection Sharing at my laptop. I check 'Allow other users to use this connection' at the advanced tab of the wireless connection under Network Connections.
I am able to surf using the console, but after around 5-10 mins, both the console and the laptop cant surf anymore. Any reasons guys?
