for the past few weeks...i have been experiencing frequent internet disconnection.the problem with my internet connection is that whenever someone calls in,it auto disconnects.and when i call out,it reconnects but usually only for a short while before it disconnects again.
At 1st,i thought is modem,i replaced the 2wire modem with a linksys AM300 that i bought frm SLS,but no hope.then i thought is the phone,so i slowly disconnected the phones,but still no hope. Now i think might be the internal wiring of my house that is causing this problem. My house phone is still workable but with a bit of distortion. Call the singnet tech to come, they replace a telephone wire from my fax machine, the internet started working for a short while. However, after the tech went off, it starts to disconnect again.
Really need help from all the experts here.Can someone enlighten me what to do and check to see if it really is my internal wiring that is causing the disconnection problems. Thanks in advance to all.
