Hi all,
Im trying to set up an adsl modem to stream Mio TV.
It is on dedicated phone line with only Mio TV service, no broadband.
I've read so far all threads here and there and have configured as below:
RFC 1483 Bridge
LLC Encapsulation
VCI 1/100
IGMP Snooping disabled.
DHCP enabled.
Firewall totally disabled.
Can't set NAT for the mio box as cant find it under dhcp client list.
When I connect the above to my Mio TV, the Blue LED lights up, looks like connected.
But it does not stream any data to display the video.
I've read somewhere that Mio TV service may require a PPPOE connection, but I call Singtel and they say PPPOE for internet. No internet no need username / password.
Of course the tech support is just reading from some paper thats all.
Is there anything I've missed out? like default gateway, subnet, host name etc.
tried to telnet from speedtouch 536 but cant see much either. also, speedtouch able to sync and can see up/downstream. but no username@singnet set.
