I am sorry if this has been asked before.

I wanted to install a linksys wrt160n to my sister setup. i know nought about ADSL as i am a Starhub customer. I need some kind soul to help me out?

How do i access and change the ST535 v6 into bridge mode?

I have no user ID and password to the ST535.

Would appreciate it greatly if someone can guide me thru. I am familiar with the linksys though.

TIA

ok i will try to configure to bridge mode.

For Starhub, i dont have to log in. is this the same?
As i am not familiar with singnet xdsl, just incase if i screw up.
Do you need a login user id and password to get into Singnet BB?

thanks for your input.

SNBB requires the username and password to be set up in the router(when your modem is in bridge mode).

thanks cpuer.

the owner do not know the user name and password.

is it possible to request Singnet to issue a new username and password?
what document proof do they require?
i could not find the information at Singnet.

I think the best is to call Singnet to check out the steps to get back username and password.

i would like to give an update to my situation and also like to thank those who have helped me.

i've managed to get the ST535 V6 and the Linksys WRT160N working.

I found out that the speedtouch DHCP server was on. I leave it as it is and not changed to bridge mode (as suggested by many). Also i do not have the login user ID and password to Singnet.

I use the Ethernet port instead of the Internet port from ST535 V6 to the Linksys and disabled my Linksys DHCP Server.

Its working now.
