According to OCZ, the 1 TB drive will cost consumers a whopping $2200, and should be available on the market in "about three weeks."

Electronista is also reporting that the 1 TB drive integrates two separate SSD components that are arranged in a RAID 0 configuration, driven by a JMicron controller.

If a person lives up to 80 years old, and you are only 25 years old now, 1 minute of waiting time is equal to about 0.00000381% of your remaining life expectancy.

But if you are 50 years old, 1 minute of waiting time is equal to about 0.00000761% of your remaining life expectancy. Which is twice the fraction of your remaining life expectancy.

:D :D :D

SSD for mass storage..... interesting.... which means you will be able to mount the SSD in any orientation in the casing and not really worry about cooling the SSD.... seems good....
