funny i just tried & can delete the folder. but i left them there since they're in c: on all my PCs (did offline sp install).

if not able to delete, u cud try deleting in safe mode. if still can't then see if changing permissions in security tab helps (while in safe mode administrator)...

btw u hav cfm it's safe to delete, right?

The folder left there by the service pack update on the system, leave it there since it won't take up too much drive space.

try google unlocker

install that and unlock it to see what process is holding it.

a little fyi abt unlocker (http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=248573).

from posts there, recent setup file ok, but mine installed feb09 this year (and earlier) had that "little problem"... now i try to do manually instead.
