StarHub cable or Singnet Broadband better!?

If i were to ask to find Pros for singnet broadband over Starhub Cable? anyone can list the pros?

Although i am using cable starhub, but my gf wanted singnet broadband but her sis wanted to change to starhub. Of cos i have to help my gf though i dont mind starhub either.

So can anyone list down the pros for using singnet broadband? i think singnet connection better right

Here is the my experience


Starhub:

Good:

Best customer support and fast response.
Truly satisfied with there response
Stable and Reliable.
Can use any Router available in market.

Bad:

During Peak hours at night 7pm to 10 pm if you are downloading from Overseas websites/Servers (do not be fooled by uptp 100mbs which is from Singapore based servers only) the speed will be slow. Streaming media like youtube will be really slow.

Singnet:

Good
Speed is good and satisfactory during peak hours from overseas websites


Bad

Customer support sucks. Two days response time during office hours only.
You have to use your own mobile phone to call and trouble shoot when u call them if the Digital phone line breaks down. It can take upto 1 hour and you pay for your mobile bill.

Ugly(Singtel)

I have MIO plan with SIngtel. SO for it broke down 7 times over period of 20 Months. SO average every 3 months 2 days down.


Now you decide what is best.

-Consistent speed in surfing

Bad
-when some1 calls, confirm get cuts off.. till date i still cannot figure out how to repair this
-customer svc and the technical helpdesk is damn hard to reach.. esp technical.. u muz not call in sundays... i had bad exp... called in sun.. some noobie in the office.. thn cannot help out anythin de....

for starhub... my cousin is using... so i roughly get a gauge...

good
-internet speed can be considerably fast at times
-technical n sales quite easy to reach.. i called once be4( i having starhub bbom) so yup

bad
-veri much depend on luck.. if lucky not many pple in block using starhub.. internet speed will b good... oso depends on which level u r stayin blah blah blah
-oh yah installation fees... 50 bucks for hdb.. 100 for landed.. (tht is y my parents nv wanted starhub, they don 1 to install the cables...)

heard m1 is using the same system as starhub.. y nto try them? got quite good reviews from wat i c...
