Realised that behind closed door for one of my room, the wireless signal is only average.
For internet speed purpose, should i go the home plug way or should i get wireless n?
I'm a bit inclined on homeplug since the wireless N is still in draft version.
Which do you guys prefer?

My purpose for this also to my home theatre room. For now, i have not gotten any NAS so what i do now is download the movies to the main computer and manually transfer via portable hdd.
Wireless transfer is too slow for that on Wireless G.
But still, my main concern is for internet speed. Quick file transfer / fast streaming will be a bonus for me.

Wireless n. Although It's still in draft mode it has been working fine for many people for a very long time.
I see more future in wireless n than in homeplug. Comptability issues are much lesser and the variety is much larger.

Those with wireless N, do you still get full signal strength behind closed door?
I'm referring to HDB size house only. Not those big landed properties.

For HDB house, I think wireless N is enough to cover. No compatible issue. Just buy and use. Easy. Price is good. Homeplug, sometimes, it performs well. But some ppl may experience it badly. It depends.
I think the future of wireless N is better than homeplug

homeplug need exclusive access to wall socket, which is a super premium in old hdb. if homeplug is used with powerstrip, can be much slower than 10mbps.

I got the twin pack powerplug from HN for $129. So far so good. Not as hot as i expected.
Speed is good too at least i dont need to worry about signal strength behind closed door now.
