Hi I'm definitely newbie in VOIP phones. Currently having a Grandstream VIOP phone GXP2000 which was previously configured by a specialist while I was having a wired LAN in my previous office. Now that my present office is limited to a wireless LAN enviroment i.e. internet access using a wireless adaptor configured with a passkey setting, I hope to continue to use the VOIP phone. Can anyone tell me if this is possible. Will it work if I connect the RJ45 cable from my desktop PC LAN port to my VOIP phone?

Possible. You just need the know how.
You can connect to your PC but you'll need more configurations than just plugging in.

Is that by means of bridging? Any pointer to do a search for the 'How to do' it?
Thanks Tidus

Buy a Wireless Bridge/Wireless AP with client mode then hook it to the ATA.
Grandstream ATA is not common in SG.
