Hi Bros, i just signed up with Singnet's 10Mbps Mio Home plan. The plan comes with 2wire 2710HGV Integrated wireless modem which I prefer not to use. Can I use my existing Linksys AM300 ADSL2 modem and D-Link DGL-4300 wireless router instead?

Thanks!

Do you need MIO Voice? Did you sign up for it?

If you need MIO Voice, then you have no choice.

You know the static route settings for MIO Voice?

Hi Guys, my MIO home plan does not have MIO voice. I would like to either use my existing linksys AM300 modem with D-link 4300 router, OR the 2Wire 2710HGV-E with D-link 4300.

Please advise on the configuration. Thanks!

Either will work fine. I doubt you can get any measurable difference between the 2.

well, dBm maybe.

WAG160N was good.

AM300 if u want to last.

also trying bridge mode now. quite fun, though have problems on virgin tryout.

Hi Bro, what you mean by "AM300 if u want to last."? I thought AM300 is a modem?

oh... then use the 2wire 2710HGV as router? Is it possible to use my D-link 4300 as router instead?

Please also help me on the configuration for the settings. Thanks bro!

2wire 2710HGV connect to the phone line for internet connection.

D-link 4300 connect to any port of 2wire 2710HGV. under the D-link 4300 configuration page, select the connection type as WAN with DHCP IP assignment.
