Hi all,

I have been using the singnet 10mbps with the 2wire wireless modem (bundled) for over a week now but i would like to replace the 2wire with my Linksys WRT54G (dd-wrt firmware).

So i purchased an Aztech DSL605EU to attach to my wrt54g but i am having trouble connecting to internet. I assumed the 10mbps is still using PPPoE right?

I even tried connecting the dsl605eu directly to my computer using ethernet as modem and create a pppoe connection but still failed to connect; Error 678.

Anyone able to assist?

Thanks in advance.

previous aztech model i had was bridged by default

would like to post the link to the guide by no rights to do so.

to bridge modems, users have to bring down both modem and external router to 2wire svc centre. Otherwise, bridging would not take effect.
