I have two Linksys WVC200 wireless IP cameras, which was running some old firmware (I think it was 1.1.0 or 1.0.1). I have been using it with my DIR-655 and the security is set to WPA-TKIP. Recently, I bought a new Buffalo WZR-HP-300NH, and while messing around with the settings, I thought I should upgrade the security to WPA2. A check with Linksys site shows an updated firmware (1.2.1 US or 1.2.1 EU), and the manual seems to give the impression that I can set the security to WPA2. However, after upgrading the firmware, I couldn't find WPA2 option under the wireless security setting.

My question is: does WVC200 support WPA2-Personal? Or even WPA-AES (only TKIP is available from the menu)? I search both the Net and Linksys support pages, but found no mention if WVC200 support WPA2-Personal or not.

Just want to be sure mah. Manual says have. But camera set-up don't have. So is the manual wrong, or did I flash incorrectly? Was there hardware differences as well (like the Dlink DIR-655, there is A1, A2, A3 and A4)? Is it hat early hardware don't have but later hardware have?

If the hardware does make a diff
Either it wont allow you to flash or brick simply because the code to hardware is not compatible.
