View Full Version : Cannot view images on 4chan

Anyone else getting this problem where they can see the ads(and other site pictures) but cannot view ANY images in the threads themselves? Using starhub cable btw.

I'm on SNBB, using proxy.singnet.com.sg on Firefox. Refresh using Ctrl-F5 instead of just F5, works perfectly for me.

Mmm if i click on filenames to go to the images directly they just re-direct me to the 4chan home page...

Clear your cache and try browsing again.

Ctrl-F5 for Firefox clears the cache for that certain page and refreshes. Not sure about other browsers.

Can any starhub users view images in threads?

Most likely you accidentally block the website or image from the website from right click menu.

If you are using firefox 3.5x
Tools->Options-> choose 'Content' Tab -> click "Exception" button on the right side of [ ] Load images automatically.

If you are using no-script plug-in, check whether the website is on block list.

It was alerady checked, i also do not have a no script plug in.

I have the exact same problem as TS... keep to the redirecting to 4chan.org when click the broken thumbnails... Also using starhub. Did TS manage to resolve it?

The reason why we're being redirected back to the main page is because our IPs are banned by 4chan.
After clicking on a picture, it goes to a banned page and then redirects to the front page.

My friend was able to capture a snap shot of the banned message. I wasn't able to view it for some reason.

Oh I see. Probably got the IP of some irresponsible f-k who was messing around and got banned. Happened before but last time they had the ban info page now it's just the pictures not showing and the redirection. Can't stand these people who abuse the dynamic IP. So the way to resolve this is to reset the modem. Gonna try later.
