Can I tied exising mobile plan to mio

I understand Mio plan offers discounts up to 4 supplementary mobile lines. I have a EXISTING mobile Classic plan which contract is over already. Can I tied this exisitng line to my Mio and get 50% discount? My classic plan has been used for vvery long and im paying only $17/mth. so i will pay for 50% of $17 or default $29.96 price ah?

From what I know, Classic plans are not eligible for discounts. However, they count towards the line count that determines the tier of discount (20, 25, 30%)
