And if there is, how does it work? u gotta buy a new laptop with them? or can trade for cash only?

Well, I dunno if any place buys 2nd-hand laptop. What I do know is previously, I've seen those trade-in booths around during past Comex.

At that time, I didn't pay much attention to it, now I'm considering trading in coz i getting a new netbook.

But i think they should offer a comparable price for trade-in as u would selling, unless ur laptop is really new and still tip-top then selling could yield more cash return. Mine is already in kinda bad state

Marketplace. i've not done it myself, but compare to the prices they offer you may get a better deal at marketplace. after all these shops are a business so you cut the middle man
