Just a few days ago, my netspeed kept going down from 8MB to somewhere around 2-3MB, it frustrates me alot as it ruins my downloads. Before making any assumptions, I have never gotten this sort of problem, except the time where Taiwan got underwater cable damage, where my speed got to an all time low, 1MB or less.

Of course, before I try to complain to Starhub, I want to know if it's my side? Is there any sort of problem conflicting my speed? Again, I have been using MaxOnline for about 10 months and I never gotten this low speed, I worried it could be modem faulty or spyware or whatnot. Why I said so was because from time to time, my speed jumps up and down, went even up to about 11MB and low again to 2MB, then my latency issue between local servers, could range from 20ms to even 150ms. Speedtest.net shows me very worrying results.

Lastly, I realize that my ping changes now? I used to have like, a sort of static IP, 218.xx something and never changes. Now it's 59 and it changes alot randomly everytime I connect.

What is going on? I'm not paying 8MB and getting this sort of speed. :s11:
