Hi Everyone,

My plan is to setup SPA3102 to do the following:

1) Take phone up, start calling and it will go out via VOIP
2) VOIP to PSTN, calling via VOIP and will transfer to PSTN line and it will prompt for PIN and after the entering the PIN, dial tone will be heard and can call singapore line.
3) Call from PSTN will ring phone
4) Call from VOIP1 will ring phone
5) Take phone up, press #9, a dial tone from PSTN line will be heard and can call out singapore line

Status:
1) Done.
2) Done.
3) Done.
4) Done.
5) Not able to.

For the SPA3102 box, I have registered 2 pfingo accounts. 1 for VOIP1 and 2 for routing via VOIP2. Calling VOIP1 account, it will ring the phone. Calling VOIP2 account, it will ring and transfer to PSTN Line. Am I doing it right by using 2 accounts?

Problem: If I register VOIP2 and use port 5060, when I try using #9, after dialing the number, it will be an engaged tone.

If I put the port as 5061, the account will not register and therefore VOIP to PSTN will not work although the status show as registered. And if I try using #9, it will have dial tone, after entering the number, then I will hear another dial tone which I will have to enter the number before calling again.

Can everyone help on this?

Dial plan I using (copied from somewhere): ([2-79]11<:@gw0>|xx.|*xx.|**xx.|<#1,:>xx.<:@gw1>|<#9,:>xx.<:@gw0>|<#9,:>*xx<:@gw0>)

what's in your LINE1 tab? VOIP1? what's in your PSTN tab? VOIP2? your PSTN is not singtel or starhub PSTN?

Hi dao,

LINE1 tab = VOIP1 = 1 of my VOIP account with pfingo, lets name it ABC
PSTN Tab = VOIP2 = 1 of my another VOIP account with pfingo, lets name it DEF
PSTN (plug in to Line port) = Singtel MIO

I read from somewhere, if pfingo is not able to login concurrently using the same account, will have to apply another account for VOIP to PSTN routing. Thats why I setup 2 accounts.

Thanks.

Just to add on:

The SPA3102 is running as bridge mode behind 2wire 2701.

ok, today try again, strange, everything is working now except:

when I dial #9, a dialtone came up, if I did not press more than 2 numbers, it will have an engaged tone.
if after #9, I press more than 2 numbers (any numbers), wait a while, the real PSTN tone (MIO line) will sound and I can then start calling.

question: Can everyone advise on how to get the real PSTN tone immediately after dialing #9 instead of having to anyhow press 2 numbers first? I try <#9,:><:@gw0>, I have to wait a while before hearing a slight change in tone before dialing

Please help. Thank you.

change <#9,:>xx.<:@gw0>|<#9,:>*xx<:@gw0> to <#9,:>xx.<:@gw0>

change <#9,:>xx.<:@gw0>|<#9,:>*xx<:@gw0> to <#9,:>xx.<:@gw0>

Hi,

Thank for the advise but it still happen as in after I press #9, I still have to press 2 numbers or more and wait a while just to get the real PSTN (MIO) tone for dialing.

What I did was change to <#9><:@gw0>|<#9,:>*xx<:@gw0>, and change VoIP Answer Delay: to 0.5. At least now when I press #9 it won't have the "false" tone and I do not have to press any 2 numbers. Just have to wait a while till the real PSTN (MIO) tone come up.

Anyway, thanks for your help...

Case Solved... :-)
