Hello i've just receive the 2wire modem for my newly re contracted 10mbps. May i install it for my 3mbps before the new plan is actually activate in a week time?

of course u can. the speed is not set by the router but from the isp.

nothing is changed. singnet will change their speed according to ur telephone number.

i am having this error resolving proxy/host on my browser. after getting this error i can only connect to the internet by restarting the com. it's happening every 30-60 mins. anyone could help me? thanks.

Test with a different computer.

Second check the line statistics to see if you are indeed being disconnected.
