I just bought a new router(DIR-655) and adapter(DWA556) at Comex. First i tried connecting the adapter to my old G connection. It worked rather well, stabilising the connection and improved speeds. However when I changed to the N router, it was even able to connect at first. Then now connected, its speed is somehow slower than my old G connection and the signal didnt seem to improve though both N products compared to my previous G products (wrt54g). Anyone can give me advice on how to make the connection faster; eg change settings? using wireless.
