Some quries on Singnet 10Mbps plan

My activation date is 18/09/09(tomorrow), so will the activation take place at 12 midnight today or earlier? Can I still use my current 2wire 2700HGV-2?

modem-wise u can use ur current one. are u currently on singtel plan too(aka recontract) or new user.

Yes, I did a re-contract. Anyway I just re-started the modem & realized that the new plan is still not activated yet.

My personal experience, plan suppose to activate today. Woke up at 7am to find the internet down, 2wire shows internet LED as red.

At 8am, the broadband LED started to blink and it's all back to normal again. Did a bandwidth test to verify my new plan. :)

usually they will say it will be activated before 5pm on that day.
upgrade 2 times before.
1st time, it was upgraded at around 8am
2nd time, it was upgraded around 2am

my connection will be disconnected. and once it conenct back, the new plan would be activated
modem wont have any problem using back 2700

they gave me a 2701 and i told the installer to leave it 1 side and continue to use my 2700.

i onli noe when i convert to digital voice, at 7am tat very morning, my hm line cant b used until the person come n setup for me...

yesterday went to his house ..yup I ask alot Qs about singnet is because helping him

thanks to marinex he also guide me alot


actually he already using adsl last time..

I didn;t changed the mirco fliter ..seem he already on adsl last time

I just connect the telephone line to the miobox telephone jack
and the 4 ethernet port one to his laptop.


key in his user id and default passwork cannot connect

we never call singnet support since the letter stated today after 5pm than acitivated.

so I guess have to wait until tonite he than try again to see can connect or not

by the way I guess my connection for him is correct?

However check at the router page there is no change to the download & upload speed, moreover cannot connect to internet. Luckily, my miotv installation in the morning, and the guy who came over helped to resolve all the issues. Now I'm happily surfing and its blazing fast compared to my prevoius 1Mbps plan.

Mine shown the same, but I did a speed test and it shows my upgraded speed. :)
