I would like to do file transfer from my laptop to my friend's laptop? How could i do that?? Using firewire is play and plug?? Usb cable also can do the job? How much does a firewire cable roughly cost??

setup adhoc network and set ur workgroup.

Transfer wirelessly.

Ehh transfer wirelessly will take very long.. I am thinking of using bluebooth to transfer too but the files are way too big abt 30GB.

Bluetooth is way more slower than wifi

if new latop(bought after 2007), just any lan cable will do.. new network card can auto sense cross/straight
