from what i heard, a lot of households are getting Comtrend homeplugs from Singnet Mio Plan but i am not sure if Singnet got inform the users that Comtrend current powerline standard is different from example Aztech`s homeplug powerline standard.

Has anyone kept a comprehensive list of what locally available homeplugs works with Comtrend homeplugs?

.
In that case, if Singtel is the only Comtrend provider in SG, it makes more sense to use Aztech HomePlug (apparently prices have dropped) all the way and for future needs too.

Using this Comtrend homeplugs right now and I'm quite satisfied with it. Prior to that, I have a pair of Aztech homeplugs (model: HL105E), which cant make it when using with mio TV box (lag is visible when playing video-on-demand though use it for internet surfing is ok).

Secondly, Singtel is marketing this Comtrend homeplugs cheaply. Pay $5.35 for 12-month only and it will be yours.

But, there is no manual provided and I do not know what is the spec of the Comtrend homeplugs, except the installer told me the data transfer it can support is up to 200MB.

Aztech HL109E can use with HL108E?

I understand it can be done. But you will need to bring in your HL108E to Aztech for them to upgrade to the new firware for it be compatible with the HL109E and newer 200mbps type.
firmware upgrade is free and takes only about 15mins.

powerline adapters are available from singnet but based on UPA instead of HPA that they once gave.
They're incompatible down from hardware level
