Hi there,

This problem has been bugging me for a while but I thought I'd try to fix the problem if possible.

I'm using an Aztech DSL305EW ADSL WLAN 4 port router (ver 27.6.3b) with a lan cable connected to my computer. I'm usually able to surf the net for a while before IE8 stops working. I've looked around the internet and found that it is a possible DNS error but I'm not sure why it only occurs after a while.

I've updated the drivers for my network card and tried disabling and enabling the connection to see if the error will stop but it doesn't work. I ran a ping test on cmd and the ping for yahoo.com was a connection timeout whereas a numerical address had no problems.

What should I do?

Thanks for reading.

Just to add on: The applications that I'm using when this occurs usually would be IE8, iTunes, MSN and Vuze with Zone Alarm and AVG running on the background.

Hi there,

tried ipconfig /flushdns just now when it happened again but didn't solve the problem. Not too sure what to do with nslookup other than it telling me the address.
