View Full Version : Sharing internet using wireless (without router)?

hi there... anyone knows how to share an internet connection that is on a laptop through its wireless card without using wireless router? i wish to share this connection on wifi to my hp to surf... possible? can someone help? thanks!:s12::s12:

i tried turning on windows ICS but my mobile phone cannot see the wifi network... :(

i am not sure as i do not have my laptop with me now. but the link provided helps to describe how to share between laptops (using LAN) and not between laptop to phone (using wifi). seems like it is not feasible... anyway thanks alot for your help guys!

Wireless has this additional step: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/setup/adhoc.mspx

both are the same ..
Go to Advance Tab ...
