Connecting starhub cable modem to vista desktop ...

i connect a starhub cable modem to a vista desktop but i keeps getting limited connectivity

what could be wrong?
any guru can advice?

i did a hard reset and everything but jus cannot get it up..

hm.. wat was ur connection?(router? ap? etc?)
btw, I need light status.. and use this command in vista
cmd--> netsh winsock reset catalog...

if still cannot, maybe firewall problem/network card faulty(highly doubt)
