Microsoft Security Essential VS Kaspersky Antivirus 6.0 for Workstation

I am unable to tell which one is more secure between them? And what are the pros and cons?

Can anyone help?

can't rem which old ver of KAV cud cause hdd chkdsk errors. cud be KAV6. check first long thread at dslreports.
