Seems like SG sites are ok, but many overseas sites cannot connect, inlcuding hotmail.com.

Any one else encountering same issue?

Singnet is really getting worst this days, some website need proxy to surf some don't need, worst is Youtube, some videos need proxy to stream, some videos need proxy to be disabled for stream to start. Can't Singnet make up their freaking mind to use or not to use proxies, Pui.

after some troubleshooting, seems like the problem is with my new dlink 2640T. When I hit the problem of not able to access certain sites, discovered also cannot http:192.168.1.1, which is my dlink modem+router. Recycle power to the dlink ok, able to goto 192.168.1.1 and all the failed sites also ok.

But after a few hours...same problem again. Now going deal with dlink technical support...but if they say as long as can connect to the internet, then the dlink no problem how? :s22:

hard reset, leave it @ default setting ( or off wireless if you dun want others to hack) and try

you should never trust speedtest results, they are only a benchmark of what your line is capable of.

im just saying that bandwidth is still ok but apparently p2p is affected, either temporarily or the isp has come up with some throttling.

My problem with the d-link 2640T resolved. Upgraded firmware to 20080725 now stable. :)

I'm getting a lot of connection errors as well.

Mostly Timed out connections, some Firefox unable to find server.

These errors happen even as I am loading other sites with no problems - working with multiple tabs.

Irritating service. It's like when I pay ERP, Road tax and everything. And I still get traffic jams on the road.

Same Problem here.
I suspect it's their DNS server problem.
Quite oftenly i on my com and when i was trying to surf, pages wont load. But MSN and Skype can sign in already.

Plus if i connect using Hotspot Shield (Proxy) can surf without problems. No lagging or image not loading problems:look:

I thought I was the only one with the issue so I thought it was a hardware problem on my side. Looks like it's not the case. It takes too long to resolve the dns sometimes and it will timeout and display the error page. Refresh then suddenly ok. I tried changing the dns server on the router to the secondary one. No improvements.
