As title, how is it possible for someone on 10mbps plan to get, say, 15 mbps speedtest result?

Possible.. Got a period of time i gotten 30mbps download on my 8mbps plan.

I do not think SpeedTest is 100% accurate. It is just an estimation gauge for frustrated users like us. :s13:

can i ask one question.duno why everyday when i test on speedtest,ping to local server is always 100-200++,but to taiwan sure lesser.this is really puzzling

It all depends on the route from the hosting server to your computer. Some routes are less congested, so therefore lesser ping and higher speeds. Speedtest is not that accurate thou.

have to cater for overhead losses.

how come singnet upload rarely at 1000kbps fixed?

Yes, possible to get higher or much higher speed when testing.........
this is due to security software caching the file for scanning before dumping it to your browser.

Avira Internet Security, Kaspersky Internet Security are 2 of the known for reporting high test speed.
