2701HGV-E router issue

anyone experience problems like unable to surf while bting even when the speed is not fully utilised or when downloading for example 600-800kb/s speed...

I am currently on 10mbps singnet bb and on vista ultimate 64bit OS...

p.s i'm not the only one affected,other users on my side were affected too...

just thinking if this router cannot handle tat many traffic?

1) did you limit your upload speed?
If all your upload bandwidth is taken up, you will find it slow to download/initiate new connection too.

2) did you set the number of maximum connections in your BT?
try lower it.

set ur global max connections to about 10.

actually i tweak my tcp max connection to 200 and i limit my upload speed at 18kb/s...i can get the max speed for my torrent....but the problem is that why is there the issue of problem with surfing when my bandwidth is not max out ar???is it because of the tcp max connection?but last time when i use the previous 2wire modem no problem sia...this 1 damm cui...haha

in my opinion, max tcp at 200 is way too high.
you are probably maxing out all your TCP buffer, that might be why you get slowness even with enough bandwidth.
My max global is at 20.

but u use 2wire ma. ur tcp 200 is ok. but ur bt shd only use less than 20.

the last i tried was 20, still got problem.
