Is the cable point a starhub-installed cable point, or is it non-starhub-installed cable point?
Anyway, isolate the problem first. Check whether it is the splitter problem, cable problem, or cable modem problem.

i straight connect my moden to the SCV box without spliiter, it working properly. i also have change the new splitter, still can not online. Does splitter have many type or model? i think should not have.
i already buy 2 type of splitter, 1st is output 3.5dB and 2nd one is output at 7dB, still unable to solve my problem.

Can u try to be more systematic and determine which parts are working and which parts are not working? For the splitter, have u tried switching the 2 modems around? If so, is your modem the one that's always not connected, or is it always the one that's connected to one of the outputs of the splitter?

thanks everyone help, my problem solve. Starhub technician have come to repair. i share the solution here.
he found that signal to my bedroom is loss, check input from the main point that was instal outside of my house is good. he open the cover of SCV box at my bedroom found that FM and SCV insufficient joint. it join togther using solder on its wire and use spliter from 1 input to 2 output which is FM and SCV connector i have use.
he suggest SCV and FM must have individual input and to its output, but i did not have such as he suggest connector, so i only use SCV and FM wire tape with insulator tape.
hope this experience will useful for u.
