Mio Landline Caller Alert

Last time, if we did not manage to pick up a call made to our mio home number, we would have an sms message sent to our mobile number informing us that we missed the call.

Call Landline --> MIssed --> SMS to Mobile

I noticed just recently that i have almost no SMS sent to my mobile telling me I missed a call from my landline.

Two years ago when I subscribed to mio, I have plenty such SMSes.

After investigation, I found that we need to wait 10 rings (30 seconds). After 10 rings if none picks up, then I will get the SMS.

Do you guys have the same experience?

all along, i will only get the sms only if the other party didnt hang up the phone for some time(10 rings like u said, i didnt really count it)

Interesting, when I called the CSO, they mentioned to me they changed it recently because lots of people complained getting too many smses.

means last time , if the other party call for 1 ring and hang up, u will receive a sms ?

i did tested before when i first got my mio(around 2yrs ago) and counted it. its quite long before i will get the sms..

but after a few months, i juz divert all the calls after 10 rings to my hp. so no more sms
