Due to the brilliance of ISP side proxy servers, its qutie common to get banned on many websites for things that you didnt do.
This used to be easily solved by doing an ipconfig /release, /flushdns, and then resetting the modem.
But now it no longer appears to be working...ban messages are still coming up.
Anyone tried it?

If you mentioned it's the ISP's proxy blocking, ipconfig /release and /refresh won't change the IP of the proxy server the ISP is using. :D

I know it wont, but it seems to have worked in the past...im not sure why. I wonder if theres a way to change the proxy server you are connecting to though?m At the very least with starhub, it seems to change proxy servers if you disconnect/re-connect.

Most ISPs should be using proxy farms that uses different IPs.
