Slow M1 Mobile BB

I have signup 2mbps M1 Mobile BB 3 weeks ago.

Until today I have not being able to hit 1mbps download. Usually i get between 256 to 700kbps downloading (off peak). In night time I get between 10 - 36kbps (feel like on Dial up connection).

I try the following

1: Format Windows and leave everything as default (nv install any software just windows and default IE)


2: Try surfing between different timing. Night 7 - 12AM, Morning 3am to 6AM, Afternoon 12noon to 2PM.


3: I have even place the bloody laptop near the windows (signal is always full anyway) still can't see the improve in speed.


4: Swap the USB sick with M1 still face the same issue.

What else can i do?

Maybe the nearest base station is a few blocks too far away from where you surf, therefore the speed is lousy.

amazing of your off-peak speed... i usually getting max (2mbps) during off peak, with 1 bar of hsdpa

I notice that all my Image has a IP address added infront of the website url.

Not sure why it M1 is adding another 172.xxx.xxx.xxx ip on the all image url.



BTW does m1 has a proxy for us to use?

u using firefox? this is some "trick" to lower the quality of your picture to make surfing "faster". If u dun like, use IE/other browser/identify as IE

My 2mbps M1 bb can hit up to 2mbps at most times when I dl torrent but when it comes to surf web, it's totally hopeless.

At most 10kbps, sometimes 0 !
