I have signed up for the above plan with Singtel. I understand that one can connect to only 1 home phone using the digital free system instead of the analog system. No extension is allowed for this Modem as the telephone line is connected directly to the modem instead of the wall socket with the filter like before.

Is there anyway to increase the number of telephone extension besides of course getting the wireless telephone set and placing it at home.

My home is wired with telephone Analogue System in all the Bedroom, Studyroom.

The installation date for the Singnet Broadband will be this coming Friday. I am not sure who many of you have signed up for Singnet MIO Plan. My sister signed up the MIO plan sometime in May 2009 but she can use extension and has 3 telephones at home.

Can anyone suggest a better idea to have more extension? Does the splitter work for this new Singtel modem?

Many Thanks in advance for good and useful information.

Regards

the extension that u were refering to ur sis setup wud be the loopback configurations which ST abolished as there are issues like drop calls/intermittent issues/calller id on phone not reflected.ST SOP wud be 1 phone connected direct to ur modem. No compromise.U want the other phone socket to work, there wud wiring fees involve 1st socket extension point wud be $53.50 2nd socket extension onwards $85+
