Hi all, anyone know how to block Internet usage on 2wire mio wireless router? I know MAC address filter can block pc from using Internet if they are on wifi connection. But I not sure if I can prevent pc connected via Ethernet to access Internet?

yes but it only blocks wireless mac address

Can, you go set some settings in those individual PC then cannot surf le lor

haha... i thought of that but no la. better not.

wat i did was i disabled DHCP in the router and assigned static IP on devices that I want them to have access to internet. its not a full proof solution but it works for now :o

Oh, so its the opposite lor. You set the settings on the individual PC that you want to be able surf.
But this way, those that are not able to surf will not be able to share files as its not facilitated by the DHCP to join the subnet.
