I had just subscribed snbb 3mbps and the service was activated on 16 Oct. However, i was not able to access the internet using the Aztech DSL1000ER. The connection is up, but could not access any website. It is giving error saying that:
The connection monitor has detected problems with your DSL connection.
This problem is often caused by noise on the phone line due to unfiltered phones or other devices using the phone line.
Check to make sure that all telephone equipment is attached to a micro-filter.
I only have one phone connected to the DSL filter and then to the modem. Called SN, they said that from their records, I have connected to internet. They say that they dun have the configuration of Aztech modem and ask me to call Aztech. :mad: but Aztech operating hours is office hours, there is no way for me to call and configure the modem at the same time... @@
Has anyone encounter this kind of problem before? Could anyone teach me how to configure the modem? Please pardon me, I am not very IT savvy...
