Definitely. Juventus, with a side depleted by injuries and sickness, could only lose to Man U by a single goal.

Going to be hell for the Red Devils in Turin.

With a Juventus performance despite having a depleted side last nite, the return match will be even more difficult for Man U! A loss might even be on the cards for Man U! :bounce:

even though juve fielded a delepted side last nite, they still have like 9 internationals in it...

1st goal zambrotta's mistake
2nd goal conte's mistake
3rd goal tudor's mistake

but must give credits to manU players to capitalise on the mistakes.

casualties from the game..

Keane will be out for couple of weeks with hamstring injury,,Silvestre also kena knock here and there. Veron also out, pending report on thursday morning. Fortune also kena knock here and there.

With Keane out,,will the midfield see the return of
Phil nevile, Paul Scholes, David Beckham, Ryan Giggs or maybe Ole will take either flanks or maybe if Veron is fit, he do his magic (given space)

For the back 4,,SIlvestre, if okie, should partner Ferdinand, O Shea on either left or right (this guy can practically play everywhere!) with Gary Nevile filling in the right.

Issnt this the combination tat brought great result during the nov and dec mths ?

Have notice this abt Man U for the past few matches.

They most probably end up losing or drawing(if lucky) matches if they miss golden opportunities early in the match.

FA Cup vs Arsenal: Giggs miss an open goal n then Edu scores....

League Cup Final: RvN couldn't steer the cross from the left into net to put manu 1-0 up and end up trailing Steven Gerrard lucky goal

Against leeds yesterday, they r lucky to get an own goal from Radebe early in the match....if not think will probably end up losing or drawing again

did u also notice tat Man Utd had not won a weekend game since the Saturday draw against Man City on 9th Feb ? In between they had beaten Juventus twice and also Leeds on wednesday and tuesday.

If these kind of form is to persist, we should be glad that Champion league is played on midweek !

do u guys how Man Utd bounce back last season after losing 5 games,,,only to fizzle out when they lost to arsenal at old trafford in april ?

but this season,,their form is much worse,,totally unpredictable.

anyway dun expect victory tonite over basle if they are fielding a second team. But doubt Fergie wants to lose on home soil too...So maybe there will still be 5 or 6 regulars in it.

Haizz....the crunch time are the matches against Liverpool, Newcastle & Arsenal.
I feel there will at least be a draw in one of these 3 matches. Man U seem getting very inconsistent these season.

Man U players dun seem to be confident in taking shots outside the box. Except only a few occasions, players like Scholes tried , others jus dun attempt more, not even Nistelrooy. They prefer run up into the box, hold the ball to let more run in to support.

In my opinion, this is 1 aspect Man U is losing out to Arsenal.

On the youth side, Darren Fletcher seems to be a very bright prospect for the future. Years ago, I've already heard of his name being mentioned. On his current form, he looks like being the next star to come out from the production line.

I just hope that he won't be like Chadwick, who was a potential star at the beginning but got struck down with unfortunate injuries, thus limiting his first team appearances.

Well, it's not that bad that Arsenal won. Advancing to another FA Cup round means more fixtures, which means players will get more tired. If Arsenal were only on target for the EPL title, then it's hard for Man U to catch up with them, since we still have CL fixtures to deal with.

i have a few rantings about that match though, anyone watched juve's match? how da hell can man u beat juve in their home ground and yet lose 3-1 to real? i look at juve defence yesterday and they cope so freaking well with barca? mind u barca wasnt lousy yesterday, if man u can broke their defence 3 times! and defend against the likes of nedved and trezeguet, how can they lose to real so much.........end of rantings .....now on to next match against newcastle, hope they do well

1 reason.......when real is on form, they can tear any team apart. hope united pull themselves together and win the rest of their matches.

Man u's play need to be different against different type of opponents..

Juve play very defensive at home,so man u no need to concentrate much on defense and just attack, thats why the goals.

Real on the other hand only know how to attack,Man u defend until no time attack...

against a very attack-minded team like real, u cant afford to play a lone striker up there and if RVN off-form then who will score goal ? against real attack is the best defence. hope saf can put 2 strikers up front in the return leg. can some1 get beckham out of the right side, his play is so predictable and roberto carlos (played against him in world cup before) is having no trouble of dealing with him. with a tactic replyin g on beckham pinpoint crosses such die.

roy keane have not been controlling the midfield as he used to be. i hope veron will be back on the return leg, let him take scholes role be the playmaker with rvn and ole up front and roy keane plays more defensive in front of the back 4 to hold up raul and whoever his partner will be on that night.
