Hi,

Have purchased this monitor MG279Q about 2-3 weeks ago.

Problem is weird.
Issue:
While gaming, screen goes blank aka black out (for 5-20secs),
sound still playing, then screen comes back on again.
frequency of occurrence increased.

Blank screen appears sometimes after 1-3hrs of usage
or doesn't appear at all. :s11::s11:
Issues appeared after 1 wk of purchase

Checked:
No Cpu fan running, Graphics driver updated, Cables fitted properly.
Power saving settings checked.

System
Graphic Card: GTX970
Power supply: 750W-Gold

Comments:
Previously using Philips 220sw, no such issues.
Unable to identify the problem.
but monitor worked well on long hours of gaming prior purchase.

Do I need to bring the monitor to be tested at service center?
Using HDMI cable, Graphic card need higher PSU?
Can someone advise/help?

This sounds like a GPU faulty issue, can you try using your old monitor?

No issue with old monitor.

I notice the additional cable(FOC-additional) given was HDMI-1.4 so I hv swap it with the original cable.

Will test it out and see what happens.
